چکیده
Surface defects have a positive effect on the improvement of electrocatalytic performance due to ability introduce half-metallicity into selected semiconductors. Herein, we prepare defect-rich Ni-doped Mn3O4 (Ni-Mn3O4) material by simple hydrothermal and impregnation method. Ni-Mn3O4 exhibits unique morphology consisting ultrathin nanoarrays nanoflowers embellished at top, which endows with large specific surface area reactive sites contributes enhanced oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The obtained shows improved OER activity overpotential 290 mV current density 20 mA cm -2 . This remarkable can be attributed multi-dimensional interface ultra-high defects, leading formation abundant active sites, thereby inducing properties suitable intermediate adsorption energies. work is expected provide reference guidance for design synthesis high-performance electrocatalysts.

The oxygen evolution reaction that occurs during water oxidation is of considerable importance as an essential energy conversion reaction for rechargeable metal-air batteries and direct solar water splitting. Cost-efficient ABO3 perovskites have been studied extensively because of their high activity for the oxygen evolution reaction; however, they lack stability, and an effective solution to t...
متن کاملBoosting Density Estimation
Several authors have suggested viewing boosting as a gradient descent search for a good fit in function space. We apply gradient-based boosting methodology to the unsupervised learning problem of density estimation. We show convergence properties of the algorithm and prove that a strength of weak learnability property applies to this problem as well. We illustrate the potential of this approach...
متن کاملUltrafine jagged platinum nanowires enable ultrahigh mass activity for the oxygen reduction reaction.
Improving the platinum (Pt) mass activity for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) requires optimization of both the specific activity and the electrochemically active surface area (ECSA). We found that solution-synthesized Pt/NiO core/shell nanowires can be converted into PtNi alloy nanowires through a thermal annealing process and then transformed into jagged Pt nanowires via electrochemical d...
